Pigs in blankets are getting a festive makeover, with Morrisons taking the much-loved trimming to a whole new level by turning it into mayonnaise.
Launching Monday 12th October, The Best Maple Pigs in Blankets Mayonnaise brings together the rich, smoky flavours of sausage and bacon with a touch of sweet maple, blended into a creamy mayo. Crafted to elevate every festive bite, it's perfection whether dolloped over leftover turkey, paired with crispy roasties, or served alongside festive picky bits.
Joining the seasonal line up is The Best Sticky Toffee Date Chutney, which takes inspiration from one of the nation's favourite indulgent desserts, giving the classic sticky toffee pudding a savoury makeover. Made in Yorkshire with sweet Aseel dates, Bramley apples, muscovado sugar and balsamic vinegar, this rich and sticky chutney is the perfect partner for a Christmas cheeseboard, pairing beautifully with cheese, crackers and cold meats.
Also, returning to the range is The Best Bloody Mary Chutney, bringing the bold, punchy flavours of the classic cocktail to the Christmas table. Made with tomatoes, celery, a splash of vodka and Tabasco sauce, this bold and spicy chutney delivers the punchy flavour of a Bloody Mary, and adds a little heat to cheese, cold meats and cracker spreads.
Together, the trio offers plenty of ways to shake up the Christmas menu, from giving leftovers a new lease of life and adding a boost to festive picky bits, to bringing something different to the traditional cheeseboard.
